The Baume & Mercier Riviera 10717 features a distinctive 42 mm stainless steel case with its signature dodecagonal bezel. The smoky gray transparent sapphire crystal dial gives the watch a modern aesthetic and allows for a mesmerizing view of the movement. The unidirectional rotating bezel with black anodized aluminum ring underlines the sporty character of this timepiece.
Movement and technology
Inside the Riviera 10717 is the renowned Baumatic in-house caliber BM13-1975A. This automatic movement offers an impressive power reserve of up to 120 hours and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The high precision and reliability of the movement are made visible by the transparent sapphire crystal caseback.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
Equipped with an integrated stainless steel bracelet, the Riviera 10717 offers both durability and elegance. Thanks to Baume & Mercier’s ingenious “Fast Strap” interchangeable system, the strap can be easily exchanged for rubber variants in different colours, allowing the watch to be customised.
Functionality
The Riviera 10717 is waterproof up to 300 meters, making it ideal for water sports activities. The unidirectional rotating bezel allows for precise measurement of dive times, while luminous hands and indexes ensure optimal readability in all lighting conditions. In addition, the watch has a date display at 3 o’clock, which increases its practical use in everyday life.
