Case and design
The Breitling Chrono-Matic Ref. 2110 from the late 1960s features a 40 mm stainless steel case that stands out for its distinctive bidirectional rotating black bezel. The dial is in contrasting white and features two black totalizers, giving the timepiece a characteristic “panda” look. The orange hands and indices with luminous material ensure optimal readability and set dynamic accents. A date window at 6 o’clock rounds off the functional design.
Movement and technology
Inside the watch is Calibre 12, one of the first automatic chronograph movements, developed in collaboration between Breitling, Heuer, Büren and Dubois Dépraz. This innovative movement stands out for its reliability and precision and offers a power reserve of about 42 hours. The unusual position of the crown on the left side of the case at 9 o’clock underlines the uniqueness of this caliber.
Bracelet and Comfort
