The Breitling Premier Vintage Chronograph Ref. 734 from the 1940s features a 37 mm stainless steel case, which was considered generously sized for its time. The dial is black and is characterized by its clear design with Arabic numerals and easy-to-read subdials. The simple pushers and the classic shape of the case give the watch a timeless elegance that is attractive to both collectors and lovers of classic timepieces.
Movement and technology
Inside the Ref. 734 is the manual calibre Venus 178, a reliable chronograph movement with column wheel control. This movement was widely used in the 1940s and 1950s and is known for its robustness and precision. It offers a power reserve of about 45 hours and allows short-term intervals to be measured via the chronograph function.
Bracelet and Comfort
