Housing and design
The Eterna-Matic Automatic impresses with its classic lines and the noble character of a solid gold case. The 14-carat yellow gold case not only gives the watch a high-quality weight, but also an elegant appearance with a warm, rich gold tone. With a diameter of 34 mm and a flat design, the watch fits discreetly on the wrist – ideal for connoisseurs of stylish vintage timepieces. The bright dial with applied gold hour markers, fine minute track and elegant Dauphine hands ensures optimal readability and underlines the minimalist design. A classic domed acrylic glass protects the dial and preserves the authentic vintage character.
Movement and technology
Inside this watch is a reliable, automatic Eterna caliber – often the in-house caliber 1428U or 1439U – with the well-known ball-bearing rotor technology (“Eterna-Matic”). This innovation once revolutionized automatic winding through minimized friction and increased durability. The movement has central displays for hours, minutes and seconds, as well as a date window at 3 o’clock. The power reserve is around 42 hours. As a finely regulated vintage automatic movement, it is a reliable timepiece and an important piece of Swiss watch history.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
Our version comes with a high-quality leather strap in brown – perfectly matched to the warm gold case. The combination of gold and leather creates an elegant symbiosis of luxury and understatement. The strap is equipped with a classic pin buckle and is comfortable to wear. Due to its compact dimensions, the watch is extremely comfortable to wear even on narrower wrists.
