Housing and design

The Franck Muller Vanguard Yachting Ref. 41V SCDT AC impresses with its polished stainless steel case measuring 41 mm x 49.95 mm and a case thickness of 12.2 mm. Blue inserts on the sides of the case underline the nautical theme and give the watch a sporty, elegant touch. The dial features appliquéd, hand-painted numerals placed on a brushed background, adding depth and sophistication to the design.

Movement and technology

Inside the watch is the calibre MVT FM 800-DT, a self-winding movement with a bidirectional rotor system. It consists of 165 components and has 21 jewels. With a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a power reserve of 42 hours. The finishing of the movement includes Côtes de Genève and brushed “soleil papier” on the bridges and rotor, circular grains on both sides of the main plate, and polished and blued screws, highlighting Franck Muller’s high watchmaking skills.

Bracelet and wearing comfort

The hand-stitched alligator leather or nylon strap offers maximum comfort and perfectly complements the watch’s maritime design. The stainless steel folding clasp, which has been polished by hand, ensures a secure and stylish hold on the wrist.

Functionality

The Franck Muller Vanguard Yachting displays hours, minutes, seconds and the date at the 6 o’clock position. The screw-down crown allows for easy setting of the time and date. With a water resistance of up to 30 meters, the watch is suitable for everyday use.
