The IWC Pilot’s Chronograph Ref. IW3706 is a timeless classic that combines functionality and precision in an elegant design.
Housing and design
The 39 mm stainless steel case has a satin finish and houses a black dial with Arabic numerals for optimum readability. A domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial and resists pressure drops. The screw-down crown and fully threaded case back underline the robustness of the watch.
Wristband and comfort
The watch is available with a high-quality black leather strap. This version is very comfortable to wear and blends harmoniously into the overall look of the watch. The pin buckle with IWC lettering ensures a secure fit on the wrist.
Functionality
Inside the IW3706 is the automatic IWC caliber 7922, based on the Valjoux 7750, with 25 jewels and a power reserve of 44 hours. The watch has a chronograph function for measuring stop and addition times as well as a date and weekday display at 3 o’clock. An inner case made of soft iron protects the movement from magnetic fields, and water resistance up to 6 bar makes it suitable for use under water.
