Description
The Junghans 1972 Competition FIS Edition Trondheim (Ref. 27/4507.00) is a watch limited to 150 pieces, designed for the 2025 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim.
Housing and design
The satin-finished, slightly oval stainless steel case measures 45.5 mm from 9 to 3 o’clock and 41.0 mm from 12 to 6 o’clock with a height of 14.5 mm. The silver dial with sunburst finish is decorated with a filigree snowflake print, inspired by the official World Cup logo. The small seconds at 6 o’clock shows the Norwegian flag in honor of the host. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures clear vision and protection.
Wristband and comfort
The dark blue leather strap with black lower leather and grey perforation offers a high level of comfort. A stainless steel inlay, which is screwed down twice, provides additional stability. The stainless steel folding clasp ensures a secure hold on the wrist.
Functionality
Powered by the J880.5 automatic movement, the watch has a power reserve of up to 48 hours. Functions such as date, small seconds, stop seconds and a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock offer a wide range of applications. The tachymeter scale in dark blue allows speed measurements, while the luminous hands and indices ensure optimal readability. In addition, the watch is water-resistant to 10 bar, which makes it ideal for everyday use and sporting activities.
