Housing and design
This classic Leonidas chronograph from the vintage era impresses with its sporty elegance and a functional, period-typical design. The round gold case measures approx. 36 mm in diameter and has elegantly curved horns that pleasantly support the wearing comfort. The clear, white dial with subdials is particularly eye-catching – arranged in bi-compax style at 3 and 9 o’clock. Fine scales for tachymeters and minute circles as well as applied indices and slender hands underline the functional character of this watch. A classic domed acrylic glass protects the sheet and enhances the authentic vintage aesthetic.
Movement and technology
Inside is the legendary hand-wound caliber Landeron 248 – a mechanical chronograph movement that was widely used from the 1950s onwards and is known for its robust, reliable construction. It has two pushers: the upper one starts the central chronograph hand, the lower one stops it and resets it. In addition to normal timekeeping, the watch also offers a 45-minute counting function via the subdial at 3 o’clock and a small seconds at 9 o’clock. The manual winding technique brings a charming retro experience – ideal for lovers of traditional watchmaking.
