Description
Combining the classic design of the 1960s with modern watchmaking, the MeisterSinger Vintago (reference VT901) embodies the philosophy of MeisterSinger’s one-hand watches.
Housing and design
The finely brushed stainless steel case with a diameter of 38 mm and a height of 10.15 mm gives the watch an elegant and timeless aesthetic. The opaline-silver dial impresses with its clear structure and functional typography, which is reminiscent of the strict design language of the 60s. A special stylistic feature is the enlarged date section in the raised centre, which offers the wearer an overview of five calendar days; a small dot marks the current date. The dome-shaped, double-sided domed sapphire crystal protects the dial and underlines the high-quality workmanship.
Movement and technology
Inside the Vintago is the Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW200-1, which has been specially modified for MeisterSinger’s one-hand watches. This movement has 26 jewels and a power reserve of up to 38 hours. At midnight, the date disc advances by one day at lightning speed, and the rotor reliably supplies the watch with energy.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The watch is equipped with a high-quality grey nappa leather strap with decorative stitching, which ensures a high level of comfort and complements the elegant look of the Vintago. The stainless steel pin buckle ensures a secure fit and underlines the quality and durability of the timepiece.
Functionality
The Vintago has a one-hand display and a unique date complication that gives the wearer an overview of five calendar days. It is water-resistant to 5 bar (50 meters) and therefore suitable for daily use. Vintago was awarded the iF Design Award for its overall design concept.
