The Mido Ocean Star 200 (reference M026.430.11.051.00) is a high-quality diver’s watch that harmoniously combines functionality and elegant design.
Housing and design
The case is made of robust stainless steel and measures 42.5 mm in diameter with a height of 11.75 mm. The unidirectional rotating bezel with a black aluminum ring and a Super-LumiNova® dot at 12 o’clock underlines the sporty character of the watch. The black dial with applied indices and luminous hands ensures optimal readability, protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides. The screw-down caseback is embellished with a starfish relief, a hallmark of the Ocean Star collection.
Movement and technology
Inside the Ocean Star 200 is the Mido Calibre 80, an automatic movement based on the ETA C07.621. This movement offers an impressive power reserve of up to 80 hours and beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. It has 25 jewels and is equipped with a Nivachron™ hairspring, which provides increased precision and resistance to magnetic fields.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The stainless steel bracelet with polished and satin-finished links offers high wearing comfort and durability. Equipped with a folding clasp and integrated diving extension, it flexibly adapts to different wrist sizes and ensures a secure fit, even over a diving suit.
Functionality
The Mido Ocean Star 200 is water-resistant up to a pressure of 20 bar (200 meters), making it ideal for water sports and diving. The screw-down crown and screw-down caseback provide additional safety underwater. The watch has a day and date display at 3 o’clock, which is easy to read even in low light conditions thanks to the luminous elements.
