The Mühle Glashütte Sea Battalion GMT (reference M1-28-62-KB.) is a robust and functional operational watch that was specially developed for the requirements of the Naval Battalion of the German Navy.
Housing and design
The case is made of lightweight and resistant titanium with a diameter of 45.0 mm and a height of 12.7 mm. The bidirectional rotating bezel allows for easy timekeeping, while the anti-reflective sapphire crystal ensures a clear view. The caseback is equipped with a viewing window that allows a view of the movement. The screw-down crown contributes to the high water resistance of up to 30 bar.
Movement and technology
Inside the GMT naval battalion is the automatic calibre SW 330-2 in the mill version, equipped with the patented woodpecker neck adjustment for increased shock resistance and precision. This movement has a power reserve of up to 56 hours and offers functions such as stop-seconds and quick date correction.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The watch is equipped with a black rubber strap, which ensures high wearing comfort and durability. The titanium folding clasp ensures a secure fit on the wrist, even in demanding conditions.
Functionality
The GMT naval battalion offers a central hour, minute and second display as well as a date display. In addition, it has a GMT function to display a second time zone, which is particularly useful for foreign missions. The hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, which ensures optimal readability even in low light conditions. With a water resistance of up to 30 bar, the watch is ideal for maritime use.
