The Mühle Glashütte S.A.R. Pilot’s Chronograph (reference M1-41-33-MB) is a robust and functional watch that was developed in collaboration with the rescue pilots of the German Navy.

Housing and design

The case is made of stainless steel and measures 45.0 mm in diameter with a height of 16.2 mm. It features a bidirectional rotating bezel and a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal that ensures optimal protection and clear readability. The screw-down crown and the caseback with viewing window underline the high-quality workmanship and allow a view of the precise movement.

Movement and technology

Inside works the automatic caliber MU 9413, equipped with the patented woodpecker neck adjustment for increased shock resistance and precision. The movement has a power reserve of up to 48 hours and offers functions such as stop-seconds and quick date correction.

Bracelet and wearing comfort

The rubber strap with folding clasp ensures a high level of comfort and a secure hold. The strap bars are screwed down, which increases the robustness and durability of the bracelet.

Functionality

In addition to the time display, the S.A.R. Pilot’s Chronograph offers a chronograph function with a central stop second, a 30-minute counter at 6 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 12 o’clock. The clearly marked 10-second scale allows precise time measurements to be taken to calculate airspeed. The hour markers and hands are covered with Super-LumiNova, which ensures optimal visibility even in low light conditions. With a water resistance of up to 10 bar, the watch is also suitable for various water sports activities.
