Housing and design

The S.A.R. Rescue-Timer Lumen presents itself with a robust stainless steel housing with a diameter of approx. 42 mm, which has been specially developed for the highest demands. The watch is designed for use under extreme conditions – it is pressure-resistant up to 100 bar (equivalent to 1000 m water pressure) and therefore also suitable for professional underwater operations.

A striking feature is the 4 mm thick anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which has an integrated magnifying glass above the date window on the inside – this design optimizes readability without making the glass more susceptible to damage. The bezel is equipped with a rubber ring that protects the case and absorbs shocks while providing the grip necessary for use.

The dial (often in a cream tone) is fully coated with Super-LumiNova , so that it shines powerfully in shades of blue and green in the dark (“lumens”) and remains easy to read even in adverse lighting conditions. The hands are skeletonized or contrasted to ensure maximum readability.

Wristband and comfort

The Ref. M1-41-08-MB model typically comes with a metal bracelet that combines robustness, flexibility and comfort in everyday use. The webs are screwed, which provides additional stability and safety in demanding situations. The folding clasp ensures a firm and reliable hold on the wrist – even under heavy use.

Despite the robust design, the wearing comfort is maintained: The combination of stainless steel core and rubber elements ensures flexibility and a pleasant fit on the arm. The diameter and case height (approx. 13.5 mm) are tuned so that the watch also looks present on medium-sized wrists, but not clunky.

Functionality

Behind the case is the automatic movement SW 200-1 in Mühle variant, equipped with the company’s own woodpecker neck regulation , which achieves particularly high rate stability and shock resistance. The movement offers functions such as stop-seconds, quick date correction and a decent power reserve of around 38 to 41 hours.

The watch is water-resistant to 100 bar, which makes it a real diving and operational instrument. The screw-down crown provides additional safety and tightness against water and damage.

Thanks to the fully luminized dial surfaces – the core of the “Lumen” version – readability is guaranteed even in complete darkness.
