Housing and design

The S.A.R. Rescue-Timer combines uncompromising robustness with maritime elegance—developed in close cooperation with the foremen of the German Maritime Rescue Association.

• The stainless steel case (Ø 42 mm, height 13.5 mm) has a formidably stable rubber bezel that is oriented towards rescue operations, absorbs shocks and at the same time avoids sharp edges.

• In addition, an anti-reflective, solid 4 mm thick sapphire crystal protects it, which is extremely resistant to pressure and scratches.

• The blue-nautical colour scheme – dial, bezel and lug at the heart of the ocean – ensures excellent legibility, sporty aesthetics and a lasting presence.

• The construction with contoured lines and smooth housing ensures high wearing comfort and minimal risk of injury during rescue operations.

Wristband and comfort

• The model comes with a blue rubber strap (20 mm), equipped with a stainless steel folding clasp that is both secure and easy to handle.

• Thanks to the ergonomically curved lugs and protected crown (position at 4 o’clock), the watch lies comfortably on the wrist – despite its sporty dimensions, it does not look bulky at all.

Functionality

• The Rescue-Timer is powered by the automatic Swiss movement Sellita SW 200-1, modified by Mühle-Glashütte with woodpecker neck adjustment, stop-seconds when pulling the crown and quick date correction.

• The watch offers a power reserve of up to 41 hours – reliable for continuous use.

• It is characterized by an exceptionally high water resistance of 100 bar (1000 m) – waterproof even under extreme conditions.

• For the best readability, especially in the dark, the dial is equipped with large, luminous triangles and Super-LumiNova-coated hands/indexes . An internally ground magnifying glass in the glass enlarges the date window – without affecting the surface .

• Precise regulation: Fine-tuned in the Glashütte manufactory, the movement runs in six positions with a deviation of between 0 and +8 sec./day – the goal: no tracking.
