The Mühle Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer (reference M1-41-03) is a robust and reliable watch developed in collaboration with the captains of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS).
Housing and design
The stainless steel case with a diameter of 42 mm and a height of 13.5 mm is characterized by its special robustness. The rounded case shape and soft rubber bezel provide additional protection against impacts and prevent injuries from sharp edges during rescue operations. The 4 mm thick anti-reflective sapphire crystal is three times stronger than a standard sapphire crystal and ensures maximum durability.
Movement and technology
Inside the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer is the automatic calibre SW 200-1 in the mill version, equipped with the patented woodpecker neck adjustment, which ensures increased shock resistance and precision. This movement has a power reserve of up to 38 hours and offers functions such as stop-seconds and quick date correction.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The S.A.R. Rescue-Timer is equipped with a robust steel rubber strap that ensures high wearing comfort and durability. The screw-down strap bars increase the stability of the strap, making it ideal for everyday use in demanding conditions.
Functionality
The watch offers a central hour, minute and second display as well as a date display at 4 o’clock, which is magnified by a magnifying glass ground into the glass from the inside. The hands and indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova, which ensures optimal readability even in low light conditions. With a water resistance of up to 100 bar, the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer is extremely pressure-resistant and therefore ideally suited for professional maritime operations.
