The Mühle Glashütte Sportivo Compass Datum (reference M1-52-22-MB) is a versatile sports watch designed specifically for outdoor adventures.
Housing and design
The stainless steel case with a diameter of 42.5 mm and a height of 11.4 mm combines ground and polished surfaces that give the watch an elegant yet robust appearance. The bidirectional rotating compass bezel with blue ceramic inlay allows the cardinal direction to be determined even if electronic navigation aids fail. A double anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the embossed blue dial, whose color gradient from blue to dark blue is reminiscent of the earth’s surface of our planet. Applied indexes and distinctive Dauphine hands, both coated with Super-LumiNova, ensure excellent readability in all lighting conditions.
Movement and technology
Inside the Sportivo Compass Datum is the automatic caliber SW 200-1 in the mill version, equipped with the patented woodpecker neck adjustment for increased shock resistance and precision. This movement has a power reserve of up to 41 hours and offers functions such as stop-seconds and quick date correction.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The canvas rubber strap with pin buckle combines the durability of rubber with the aesthetics of canvas. This bracelet is produced exclusively for Mühle-Glashütte and is made of sustainable SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC, which is made from 100% recycled PET bottles. It offers high wearing comfort and adapts flexibly to the wrist, making it ideal for all everyday challenges.
Functionality
The Sportivo Compass Date offers a central hour, minute and second display as well as a date display. The bidirectional rotating compass bezel allows you to determine the cardinal direction by holding the watch horizontally and aligning the hour hand with the sun; the angle between the hour hand and the 12 o’clock marker halves the south. With a water resistance of up to 30 bar, the watch is also ideally suited for water sports activities.
