Housing and design

The Omega Constellation Ref. 168.004 is one of the iconic models of the 1960s and impresses with its classically elegant appearance. The stainless steel case measures approx. 35 mm in diameter and presents itself in the typical “C-shape” shape, which is defined by gently rounded case sides and clear lines. The deep black dial provides modern expressiveness and strong contrasts. The applied baton indices and the slender dauphine hands underline the timeless character of the model and, together with the fine minute scale, ensure excellent readability. The classic Constellation logo with gold star at 6 o’clock gives the dial its unmistakable identity. A slightly curved plexiglass protects the dial and remains true to the vintage aesthetic.

Movement and technology

Inside the Ref. 168.004 is the automatic Omega calibre 561 – a chronometer-certified movement with 24 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Developed in the heyday of Omega’s mechanical watchmaking, this in-house calibre is synonymous with exceptional reliability and precision. It has a central seconds display as well as a finely integrated date function at 3 o’clock. The calibre is equipped with a shock-resistant balance bridge, self-winding in both directions and a high-quality finish – visible through the screwed caseback with the famous observatory medallion.

Our version is equipped with a high-quality black leather strap, which perfectly complements the classic design language of the watch. The combination of a flat case, elegant clasp and soft leather ensures a high level of comfort and makes the watch the ideal companion for everyday life, business or special occasions.
