The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch “Grey Side of the Moon” Ref: 311.93.44.51.99.002 pays homage to the legendary moon landing, combining avant-garde design with cutting-edge watchmaking. This watch is aimed at lovers of technical precision and stylish elegance.
Housing and design
The 44.25 mm case is made of gray ceramic, which is given a metallic look by a special plasma process. The sandblasted 950 platinum dial gives the watch an exceptional depth and texture. The ceramic bezel with tachymeter scale in white Super-LumiNova® ensures optimal readability and underlines the sporty character of the watch. The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial while offering a clear view of the fine details.
Bracelet and comfort
A gray alligator leather strap harmoniously complements the case and offers a high level of comfort. The titanium folding clasp ensures a secure hold and underlines the high-quality workmanship of the watch. The combination of ceramic case and leather strap makes the watch pleasantly light and ensures a balanced wearing comfort.
Functionality
Inside is the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9300, an automatic chronograph movement with a column-wheel mechanism and a power reserve of 60 hours. The watch features a chronograph with 12-hour and 60-minute counters on a subdial at 3 o’clock, as well as a small seconds at 9 o’clock. A date window is located at 6 o’clock. The watch is water-resistant up to 5 bar (50 meters) and thus offers protection in everyday life.
