The Patek Philippe Ellipse d’Or Ref. 4226 The 18-carat yellow gold oval case embodies the timeless aesthetic of the Ellipse collection. With dimensions of approx. 23 mm x 28 mm and a case thickness of only 6 mm, the watch nestles discreetly against the wrist and exudes classic elegance. The gold sunburst dial, embellished with gold dauphine hands and applied hour markers, contrasts harmoniously with the warm gold tone of the case. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial and ensures a clear view of the time.
Movement and technology
Inside the Ref. 4226 operates the mechanical hand-wound calibre 16-250 movement, known for its reliability and precision. This movement, designed and manufactured by Patek Philippe, has a power reserve of approximately 36 hours and beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.
