Housing and design
The 140 St has an impressive presence: with a case diameter of 44 mm and a height of approx. 15 mm, this model presents itself in a striking cushion shape. The stainless steel case has been bead-blasted and surface-hardened using the in-house TEGIMENT technology – for exceptional scratch resistance. The matt black dial with a central 60-minute stop hand is in the direct tradition of those models that have already been tested in space. The combination of technical sophistication and iconic design language makes this model a real statement instrument.
Wristband and comfort
With a lug width of 22 mm, the 140 St relies on proportions that ensure presence. Despite its size and technical features, great importance has been attached to wearing comfort – the case weight is around 118 g without strap. Whether on the high-quality leather strap or the robust metal bracelet – this model offers design freedom and a comfortable fit at the same time.
Functionality
At the heart of the chronograph is the automatic caliber SZ01 with 28,800 vibrations per hour. Special features: a central 60-minute stop hand for improved readability, Ar dehumidification technology for fogging and functional safety, and pressure and vacuum resistance of up to 10 bar. These technical qualities, combined with the historic model series, make the 140 St a high-performance companion – in everyday life as well as in extreme conditions.
