Housing and design
With a diameter of 41 mm and a height of approx. 14.2 mm, the 144 St Sa presents itself as a powerful sports chronograph with clear lines. The bead-blasted stainless steel case gives the watch a matte, technical surface – in keeping with its sporty character. The matt black dial is broken up by contrasting elements: chronograph totalizers, tachymeter and pulsometer scale on the rehaut and easy-to-read luminescent hands ensure maximum functionality. The front and back are covered with sapphire crystal glass (transparent back), elegantly combining technology and design.
Wristband and comfort
The lug width is 20 mm – a classic size that ensures balanced proportions. With a weight of around 90 g (without strap), the watch is surprisingly comfortable to wear on the wrist despite its robust features. Whether on a solid stainless steel bracelet or on optional leather/textile straps – the 144 St Sa offers comfort and style in equal measure and can be flexibly adapted to personal everyday life or special occasions.
Functionality
The technical equipment is impressive: Inside, the Concepto C99001 automatic movement works with 25 ruby bearings and 28,800 vibrations per hour. The functions include a 12-hour chronograph counter, a jumping 30-minute counter, the central stop second, and the date and weekday display. There is also a combined tachymeter and pulsometer scale – ideal for measuring speed or heart rate. Technically, this watch scores with a pressure and vacuum resistance of up to 20 bar as well as antimagnetization in accordance with DIN 8309 – optimal conditions for everyday use and use.
