This striking aviator watch model is presented in a bead-blasted stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 mm and a height of approx. 15.45 mm – a powerful presence on the wrist. The matt black dial features high-contrast Arabic numerals and luminescent hands that ensure optimal readability day and night. A captive, sliding rotating pilot bezel with tegiment technology and black hard coating makes this timepiece not only functional, but also visually strong in character. The workmanship with sapphire crystal (glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides + transparent back) underlines the high standards of quality and technology.

Wristband and comfort

With a lug width of 22 mm, the bracelet fits harmoniously into the proportions of the case. Despite the robust design, the wearing comfort remains high – the case weight is approx. 98 g without strap. The watch is delivered with a high-quality cowhide underlay strap as standard; on request, a stainless steel solid belt with micro adjustment can also be selected. For a true instrumental feel, this model combines style with function – ideal for everyday life or aviation-inspired missions.

Functionality

Inside is the calibre SZ01, an automatic chronograph movement with 28,800 vibrations per hour and a central 60-minute stop hand – an innovative solution for quick and clear indication of the stop time. The functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, date display and chronograph function. In addition, the watch is non-magnetic in accordance with DIN 8309 and pressure- and vacuum-resistant up to 10 bar (≈100 m) – making it ideally equipped for demanding applications. This combination of historically inspired design and modern technology makes the 156.1 a timeless instrument with character.
