The Sinn 206 Arctic II (reference 206.012) is a modern diving chronograph reminiscent of the legendary 203 Arctic from 1999. With advanced technology and contemporary design, this watch meets the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics.
Housing and design
The polished and satin-finished stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 mm and a height of 17 mm gives the watch a striking presence. The galvanic blue dial with sunburst finish and luminescent indices ensures optimal readability, while the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial. The captive diver’s bezel with minute detent and luminescent main marking underlines the professional character of the watch.
Movement and technology
Inside, the mechanical lever mechanism Concepto C99001 with automatic winding works. This movement has 25 ruby jewels and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, ensuring precise timekeeping. In addition, the watch is non-magnetic according to DIN 8309 and offers a date and weekday display.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The 206 Arktis II comes with a high-quality stainless steel bracelet that ensures high wearing comfort and underlines the sporty aesthetics of the watch. The safety folding clasp ensures a secure fit on the wrist, even in extreme conditions.
Functionality
The watch offers central hour, minute and second displays, as well as a date and weekday display at 3 o’clock. The chronograph enables precise timekeeping, and the temperature-resistance technology ensures functional reliability in a temperature range of -45 °C to +80 °C. With a water resistance of up to 300 m (30 bar) and the Ar dehumidification technology, the 206 Arktis II is ideally suited for professional dives and extreme conditions.
