The striking case of this watch measures 43 mm in diameter and has a height of approx. 11 mm – ideally sized for sporty expression and everyday practicality. Made of bead-blasted stainless steel, the 240 St GZ carries an internal tidal bezel that allows you to read the relative water level or the time until the next high tide – a feature that appeals to sailors and water sports enthusiasts alike. The deep blue dial with luminous markers and the sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides underline the technical elegance of this model.
Wristband and comfort
The lug width of 22 mm ensures balanced proportions and a secure fit on the wrist.Despite the technical features, the watch weighs around 85 g and is comfortable to wear without a strap. Whether with a solid stainless steel bracelet or an alternative leather or textile strap – the 240 St GZ combines sporty robustness with everyday comfort and stylish versatility.
Functionality
This timepiece is powered by the automatic movement calibre SW 220-1 with 26 ruby bearings and 28,800 vibrations per hour. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date and weekday displays, and – at the heart of the design – the tidal bezel: set the triangle “HW 1” to the time of the last high tide and you can use the hour hand to read the current and upcoming water levels. Technically, the model convinces with pressure and vacuum resistance up to 10 bar as well as antimagnetism according to DIN 8309 – a versatile companion for land and sea.
