Housing and design
The 240 St impresses with a striking case diameter of 43 mm and an elegant height of approx. 11 mm – ideal for everyday use and assertive at the same time. The bead-blasted stainless steel case gives a discreet but high-quality look. A special highlight: the internal aviator bezel with luminescent triangle as the main marking – a clear reference to classic instrument clocks. In addition, sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures excellent readability – even in difficult lighting conditions.
Wristband and comfort
With a lug width of 22 mm, the bracelet blends harmoniously into the overall picture. The case weight without the strap is around 85g / around 98g – depending on the source – giving the watch a solid presence on the wrist without being overly chunky. Whether it’s a solid stainless steel bracelet with a safety folding clasp or high-quality leather/textile variants – the 240 St offers wearing comfort for everyday life as well as for special occasions.
Functionality
Inside, the automatic movement calibre SW 220-1 (also known as SW 220-1) works with 26 ruby jewels, automatic winding and 28,800 vibrations per hour. The functions include hour, minute and second display as well as date and weekday display, whereby the weekday display can be set to either German or English. The technical basis of the watch is impressive: water-resistant and pressure-resistant up to 10 bar as well as vacuum proof – equipment that meets the typical Sinn requirements.
