Housing and design
The 358 Sa FLIEGER model presents itself with a robust case made of satin-finished stainless steel with a diameter of 42 mm and a height of approx. 15 mm – a self-confident size with a clear instrument character. The matt black dial with Arabic numerals and luminescent colour ensures excellent legibility – complemented by a strongly domed sapphire crystal cover glass and a screw-down transparent back. The combination of a clear aviator look and high-quality workmanship makes this model a reliable companion with style.
Wristband and comfort
With a lug width of 22 mm, the bracelet fits harmoniously to the case and offers a secure fit on the wrist. Despite the technical features, the wearing comfort remains high – with a weight of around 86 g (without strap), this watch is noticeable, but never overly present. Whether with a classic leather strap or an optional solid stainless steel strap – the 358 Sa FLIEGER combines everyday practicality with comfort and style.
Functionality
Inside is an automatic chronograph movement (based on the SW 500 calibre or Valjoux 7750) with 25 ruby bearings and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, day of the week and chronograph function – all clearly structured in aviator style. Technically, the model continues to impress with pressure and vacuum resistance up to 10 bar (≈ 100 m) as well as anti-magnetic design in accordance with DIN 8309.
