Housing and design

The Sinn 556 A is an elegant, sporty everyday watch with a clear focus on functionality and design purity. The satin-finished stainless steel case measures 38.5 mm in diameter and has a compact, balanced case height of 11 mm – ideal for any wrist circumference. The dial in deep black looks tidy and highly functional: applied baton indices and slim, polished hands with luminous material ensure excellent readability in all lighting conditions. The geometric clarity of the design is enhanced by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides, which minimizes reflections while providing excellent protection against scratches. The screw-down caseback is equipped with a sapphire crystal and allows a view of the mechanical inner workings.

Movement and technology

Inside the Sinn 556 A is the automatic caliber SW 200-1 in a high-quality design. The movement has 26 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of approximately 38–42 hours. The classic display of hours, minutes and seconds is complemented by a discreetly integrated date window at 3 o’clock. The movement is shockproof, anti-magnetic according to DIN 8309 and known for its reliability in daily use. It is fine-tuned and regulated at Sinn – a feature that elevates this watch to the premium range despite its simplicity.

Bracelet and wearing comfort

Our version is equipped with the satin-finished solid stainless steel bracelet from Sinn. It blends seamlessly into the case and underlines the watch’s clear, technical design language.
