The Sinn 156.1, reference 156.030, is a historic pilot’s chronograph that combines tradition and modernity in a timeless design.

Housing and design

The bead-blasted stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 mm and a height of 15.45 mm gives the watch a striking presence. The matt black dial with luminescent numerals as well as hour and minute hands ensures optimal readability, supported by the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The captive stainless steel pilot’s bezel with black hard coating on a tegimented background and luminescent fixed point at twelve o’clock underlines the instrumental character of the watch.

Movement and technology

Inside the 156.1 is the mechanical lever mechanism SINN SZ01 with automatic winding, 28 ruby jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. This movement has a 60-minute stop indicator from the center, which allows for quick and precise recording of stop times. In addition, the watch is non-magnetic according to DIN 8309, water-resistant and pressure-resistant up to 10 bar as well as vacuum proof, which ensures its reliability in various areas of application.

Bracelet and wearing comfort

The Sinn 156.1 comes standard with a black vintage-look cowhide strap, which is equipped with a pin buckle and offers a high level of comfort. With a lug width of 22 mm and a weight of 98 grams without the strap, the watch fits comfortably on the wrist and is suitable for both everyday use and special occasions.

Functionality

As a pilot’s chronograph, the 156.1 offers functions such as hour, minute and small seconds, a chronograph function with a 60-minute stop display from the centre and a date display.
