Housing and design
The Sinn U1 (Ref. 1010.010) embodies uncompromising commitment and technical perfection. The German submarine steel case measures 44 mm in diameter and is bead-blasted – this results in a robust, low-reflection surface, ideal for critical conditions. The captive rotating bezel for divers with minute detent underlines the professional equipment. The matt black dial with clear, large indices and hands with luminous paint ensures perfect readability even in the dark and under water. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides provides optimal protection against scratches and reflections.
Movement and technology
Inside is a precise automatic movement with 26 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour – typical of high-quality watches. Centrally displayed hours, minutes and seconds are complemented by a date function at 3 o’clock. The movement is non-magnetic according to DIN standards and shock-proof – ideal for demanding use.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
Our version comes with the solid link bracelet made of bead-blasted submarine steel. The robust belt structure is precisely matched to the housing material and the application requirements. With a lug width of 22 mm and the ergonomic case shape, the watch is comfortable to wear despite its sporty size – both over the wetsuit and directly on the skin.
Functionality
The Sinn U1 is a technical diver’s watch with water and pressure resistance of up to 100 bar (equivalent to 1,000 m diving depth) and is designed to be resistant to negative pressure.
