Housing and design
The Union Glashütte 1893 Johannes Dürrstein Edition, reference D007.456.16.082.00, presents itself with a 41 mm stainless steel case that combines classic elegance and modern watchmaking artistry. The dial features a shimmering blue-grey, sandblasted surface surrounded by an enameled white ring, creating a fascinating 3D effect. Blued hands and Arabic numerals underline the traditional character of this watch. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial and ensures optimum readability.
Movement and technology
Inside the watch is the hand-wound caliber UNG-56.S1, which offers an impressive power reserve of up to 60 hours. This exclusive movement stands for maximum precision and reliability and is visible through the sapphire crystal case back so that the fine mechanics can be admired.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The blue calfskin strap with crocodile embossing complements the elegant design of the watch and is also very comfortable to wear. A stainless steel pin buckle ensures a secure fit on the wrist.
Functionality
In addition to displaying the hours and minutes, the watch has a small seconds display at 9 o’clock, a power reserve display at 5 o’clock and a date display at 3 o’clock. With a water resistance of up to 10 bar (100 meters), it is also suitable for everyday use.
