Housing and design
The Union Glashütte Noramis Chronograph Sport, reference D012.927.17.047.00, combines sporty elegance with a touch of retro charm. The 43 mm stainless steel case is complemented by a unidirectional rotating black ceramic bezel, which is not only aesthetically pleasing but also offers functional advantages. The blue dégradé dial, which runs from a light center to darker edges, gives the watch a special depth and dynamism. Mushroom pushers and a screw-down crown emphasize the vintage character, while the highly domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures optimum readability.
Movement and technology
Inside the Noramis Chronograph Sport is the automatic UNG-27.S2 movement, equipped with a silicon balance spring that ensures increased resistance to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations. This precise caliber offers an impressive power reserve of up to 65 hours and reliably drives the chronograph function.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The watch is fitted with a textured blue rubber strap, which is not only comfortable to wear but also emphasizes the sporty aesthetic of the watch. A stainless steel double folding clasp ensures a secure fit on the wrist and makes it easy to put on and take off.
Functionality
In addition to displaying the hours, minutes and small seconds, the Noramis Chronograph Sport has a chronograph function with 60-second and 30-minute counters. The date display is discreetly integrated into the totalizer at 9 o’clock, giving the dial a harmonious symmetry. Thanks to the screw-down crown and screw-down case back, the watch is water-resistant up to 20 bar (200 meters), making it ideal for water sports activities.
