Housing and design
The Union Glashütte Viro Date, reference D011.407.11.051.00, features a 41 mm stainless steel case that conveys a classic yet generous look thanks to its almost rimless bezel. The deep black dial with applied indexes and slim, nickel-plated hands coated with Super-LumiNova® ensures optimal readability and gives the watch a timeless elegance. A sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial and minimizes light reflections.
Movement and technology
Inside the Viro Datum is the reliable U 2892A2 automatic movement, which offers a power reserve of up to 42 hours. This precise movement reliably drives the hours, minutes and seconds as well as the date function. The screw-down caseback with sapphire crystal allows a fascinating view of the fine mechanics of the movement.
Bracelet and wearing comfort
The three-link stainless steel bracelet ensures a high level of comfort and nestles comfortably on the wrist. A stainless steel folding clasp ensures a secure hold and easy handling.
Functionality
In addition to displaying hours, minutes and seconds, the Viro Datum has a date display at 6 o’clock. With a water resistance of up to 10 bar (100 meters), the watch is ideally suited for daily use and sporting activities.
