The MeisterSinger company is a renowned German watch manufacturer that is best known for its unique one-hand watches. The brand was founded in 2001 by Manfred Brassler in Münster and has been able to make a name for itself thanks to extraordinary and classic watch designs as well as precise Swiss craftsmanship – the watches are produced in Biel, Switzerland. Instead of relying on complex and expansive designs, Brassler wanted to create watches that represented time in a simple and elegant way and focused on the moment. This is how the N°01 series was created, which displays the time on a 12-hour dial with only one hand. The Perigraph, Salthora or Lunascope collections also have this basic design, are characterized by precise mechanical movements and yet can convince with a great variety. The popular MeisterSinger Neo model series stands for a modern and restrained aesthetic, which is why it is particularly suitable for lovers of purist designs. The Neo models are slimmer and slightly more compact than other watches from the company. The timepieces often have a retro look that is reminiscent of the 60s. After a facelift of the Neo, the watch now convinces with a water resistance of 50 instead of 30 meters thanks to sapphire crystal (domed) and a steel case back that is screwed down. Despite the innovations, the low height remains as a design feature, making it a hand-flattering model for all watch lovers.

The MeisterSinger Neo combines the aesthetics of the 1960s with the typical design attributes of the German watch manufacturer. For example, the automatic watch with the reference NE903N comes with a diameter of 36 mm, is made of stainless steel and the glass is made of tempered acrylic glass. On the dial, only two-digit indices can be seen for the indication of the hour and the brand uses the Sellita SW200 automatic movement as the movement. Furthermore, the watch has a date window and a power reserve of 38 hours. The model scores with an elegant look, which is enhanced by an ivory-colored dial color. There is no shortage of colours in the series: whether white (reference NES901G), sunburst blue (reference NES908), ivory (reference NES903), platinum grey (reference ED-NES-T1), azure blue (reference NE914) or sunburst green (reference NE919D). There is a suitable automatic for every taste in the collection series. If you prefer a larger watch in the typical Neo design in the style of the 1960s, go for the Neo Plus. As the name Neo Plus suggests, this watch with the reference NE4503 is a model with a larger case in a familiar round shape – namely 40 mm. Other features of the Neo Plus: 30 meters water-resistant, closed back, stainless steel case, Sellita SW200 automatic movement, date display and including lines for better readability.

Limited special editions from the series

The watch manufacturer MeisterSinger is not only causing a stir with the various versions and model variants of its unique timepieces, but also with extraordinary limited editions. This also includes the Neo T1 edition. It pays homage not only to design elements from the 60s, but in particular to the popular VW T1 bus as a low-rider restomod. This typically has a two-tone body, a distinctive logo and a nostalgic look. Only 100 pieces of the watch are available.
